stars.bin: a filtered and re-encoded subset of the HYG Database v4.1, © David Nash / HYG Database (astronexus), CC BY-SA 4.0, commit 3bf37f4b. Little-endian: a 12-byte header ("SKYC", version 1, star count as uint32), then 36 bytes per star: Hipparcos number (int32, 0 if none), RA and Dec in radians (float64), proper motion in RA and Dec as in HYG, magnitude and B–V colour index (float32).
