SpaceDeck Stargazer privacy policy

Effective 1 November 2026

Summary

SpaceDeck Stargazer is made by LUNA Creatives AB, Sweden. It collects no data about you. It has no account, no ads, no analytics, no crash reporting and no tracking. It contains no third-party SDKs. We, the developer, receive nothing from the app.

Your location

With your permission, the app uses your location on your iPhone to draw the sky above you and to work out tonight's darkness and light pollution. To get tonight's forecast, the app asks Apple's WeatherKit service for the weather at that location. That request goes to Apple, not to us, and is covered by Apple's privacy policy. If you do not share your location, the app uses an approximate place based on your time zone.

Motion sensors

Through the roof uses the phone's motion sensors to know where you are pointing. This stays on the device. The app does not use the camera.

What stays on your iPhone

Your settings (such as red light mode) and your answers to the occasional question whether you saw more, about the same or fewer stars than the app showed are stored only on your device. They are removed when you delete the app.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted at this address with a new effective date.
